I generally stick with one game at a time regardless of whether it is single player or online. GW is my focus now, has been since May '05.

Once upon a time I was a hardcore Guildwars fan (thousands of hours logged), but I havent really been playing since Nightfall came out. I dropped about $130 on 2 copies of Nightfall (including 1 collectors copy), and pretty much gave up on Guildwars 2 weeks later.

Lol, This doesnt mean that I've given up hope completely. The next installment of Guildwars might have me hooked again. I was completely hooked on Chapter 1 and got more than my moneys worth.

About the only thing I do now is log on once per week to try and win a quick round of 10 in random arena and tinker with different build ideas.

Hopefully one of the goals for the next chapter will be focused on uniting our beloved community.

GW is currently the only online game I play. I used to be addicted to a few (Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Diablo 2 and Starcraft), but those have gone permanently on my bookshelf.

I have over 3,000 hours played and 2 accounts. I was "Hardcore GW" but I'm so beaten down by the Nerf bat oops "skill balances" that I needed a break, for the last 2 weeks I have been playing Flyff . It's FREE! and Cute

With over 200 hours a month playtime , over the last 9 months, i think i can call myself a hardcore GW player. It is the only game i play on a daily base.
Almost don't play other games.

Actually, no Guild Wars does not meet all of the above. Guild Wars does not meet the "massively" part of it due to Guild Wars being a 100% instanced game. A 100% instanced game is not a MMO, just like Diablo II is not a MMO.

Guild Wars is the only multiplayer game I play full stop... I'm not much of a people-person ... and Guild Wars is about the only online game I could get away with playing without help from other people.

The only other games I've been playing lately are TESIV Oblivion and Enchanted Arms on my X-Box 360 .... [I don't yet have the RAM to manage PC Oblivion]...

Well check this: I didn't play ANY GW yesterday evening... ^_^

Its a definite improvement... though I did play in the morning before work.... and I played this morning before work (which I'm at now) too.

*Does a little dance*

I actually took the time to do something else with my time....

..... Texturing clothing meshes for IMVU as it happens ... though the whole time I was wishing I could texture meshes for GW instead. I could make some mad-pimped 15K armour if the A-Net folks let me loose on a decent mesh.
Unfortunately I don't know 3DS-Max well enough to make my own meshes... but I'm a wizard in Paint Shop Pro...

I'm totally off the point here, aren't I?

Damnit A-Net.... LET ME TEXTURE FOR GUILD WARS!

Since buying Prophecies some 18 months ago I have not bought any other PC game except Factions and Nightfall. I have also not played any other games in the last 18 months.

I used to buy at least one, sometimes two new games per month, so in a way Guild Wars has saved me a fortune :-)

i play gw and WoW and often find myself switching between the 2 very often
wow if u are a casual player , face it you cant be the best, you will never be the best, near the end of wow its much more about how many epic items u spent ages raiding for than ur skill, but parts of wow are still very fun, guild wars, if ur guild plays ages and ages and is the top of leaderboard u still arent the best, with the right builds and tactics a player who plays 2 hrs a day could smash every individual person, also wow grinding for lvls isnt much fun, so, im lvl eg..not true 64 i must get to lvl 65 u think, but think more what will i do when i am 65 ofc i will think i must get to 66 itsd hard work and not too much fun getting to 66 but something better will happen then..no all u want to do is to get to 67 adn what then and so on and guild wars is not like that,u play through the storyline not caring about ur lvl.they both have their advantages but for the casual player guild wars is the right way to go

I play Gw a lot since I've had it (800+ hours in 6 or so months, 250 or so hours logged into my xfire) but I play many other games too. I'm not hardcore on Gw, but I'm hardcore altgoether. I can play 5-7 hours of games a day, even up to 13 hours on weekends and holiday breaks.

Yes. I am a nerd.

I'm obsessed. I play when I'm not sleeping, at school, making out, and eating. Sometimes I multitask.

Homework is done at school.
